Forest Bathing Nederland

UNIQUE AND MEANINGFUL EXPERIENCES IN NATURE

Forest Bathing Nederland creates unusual and meaningful experiences in nature. We do this in several locations in the Netherlands. In the vicinity of Amsterdam, Breda, Nijmegen, on the Veluwe and in the dunes of North Holland.

Certified forest bathing guide Martin Thomas has discovered many special sites over the years. Beautiful varied landscapes that stimulate your senses. Areas that have not yet been overrun, where you can still find quietude.

In our workshops we invite participants to relax and slow down. As a result, they will experience a deeper sense of connection with nature and the Earth, directly and personally.

WHY A CERTIFIED GUIDE?

As a certified guide, Martin creates the right conditions for a successful forest bathing workshop. So that you as participant can surrender yourself carefree to new ways of experiencing nature.

He carefully chooses areas with a varied landscape. Maps out routes that stimulate the senses. And invites you in creative ways to deepen your connection with nature and yourself.

He also creates the opportunity to share experiences, insights and surprises. Which makes the experience even richer for all participants.

quote-1

“I found the guidance by Martin super nice and inspiring. Lots of rest, not too much explanation, and wonderful exercises that I did not know from previous sessions with other guides. Everything with full attention, completely in the here and now.”

FOREST BATHING THROUGHOUT THE NETHERLANDS

Forest Bathing Nederland organizes workshops throughout the Netherlands. Every site is different, with special properties. And we respond to that creatively. We work together with nature and therefore no two forest bathing sessions are the same.

  • A regular Forest Bathing workshop lasts 2.5 to 3 hours, depending on the number of participants.

  • A regular workshop has a minimum of 4 and maximum os 10. participants.

  • We also organize workshops on specific themes, day and weekend programs, and individual walks.

  • We can customize a workshop for your own group or team. Contact us to discuss the possibilities.

  • Our workshops are usually guided in Dutch. On request we do a workshop in English or German. Please contact us to discuss the options.

  • As long as the Covid-19 guidelines of the Dutch government apply, we will comply with them in all our activities. This means no physical contact, 1.5 meters distance and possibly a limited number of participants.

  • See our events page for current information.

WE APPLY THE FOLLOWING STANDARDS

What goes without saying for us and yet it's good to clearly name it:

  • We create a safe environment for all participants in which we treat each other with respect.

  • We treat the living Earth and all her creations with the same respect.

  • In everything we do we want to strengthen the inter-connectedness with all life on Earth.

  • We limit the traces of our presence in nature to a minimum.
